I can't fault the scrubbing power of this article, it does exfoliate wonderfully (in fact, almost to the point of pain on sensitive areas, so keep it well away from those). It dries quickly and I've found no trouble with odour. But the head continually slips off the handle, particularly when in use on one's back. On more than one occasion it has actually dropped over the side of the bath and had to be retrieved from the floor. And when the head is detached it isn't really any more use than it was before, so you would probably be better buying one with a fixed handle. I really don't recommend this at all.

Excellent buy - better still if you modify slightly., 10 Sept. 2013
Have bought this brush before and found that a couple of small brass screws inserted through the handle into the brush head prevent it slipping out in use. Also I recommend fitting a slighty longer length of cord to prevent it slipping out of your hand in use. Advise warm storage arrangements (airing cupboard?) for hygiene reasons.

Seemed a good idea at the time, 30 July 2013
Didn't take long before it turned black and had to be thrown away for cosmetic reasons.I certainly would not get a loofah again.
