A good product- for the right type of skin, 26 Aug. 2016

This type of product is new to me. Having been bald for a number of years, I am now used to having a shiny head. However, I do have freckles as well (I am a catch!), so have ruled products such as this out up to now.

I found this easy to apply. However, I could tell it was on, no matter how light I applied it- my skin is light coloured, but as I say, there are frequent freckles, which were noticeable by their absence where I had applied it. Ignoring this, it does leave the skin looking well and matt which is great- especially for longer distance photos, I was not lit up like a light bulb. It is just a shame that it is not suitable for me for everyday use.

I do feel it is a lot of money for this (especially as this is not suitable for me), but if you have clear skin which does not have marks or spots which people would notice were missing, you may feel the price is worth it. I will also say it was very light in use- it was lighter than my normally light skin when I applied...

Im going to use it, and I like it very much., 27 Aug. 2016

Really nice compact and very nice light powder in very smart plain matte black case. I ordered it mistakenly thinking it was a normal compact and did offer it to various male family member and acquaintances, though strangely, every single one forgot to add a thank you onto the end of their sentences, but there you go, men. It is a nice powder and quite happy to claim it for myself and as the name is on the bottom and the visible part when you hold it is plain, then I shall use it, as a very nice slightly tinted translucent and natural looking powder.

Saying which, I can think of one or two gentlemen of my intimate acquaintance in the distant past who could definitely have used this to good effect, especially those with rather muscly, bony heads who tended to have a thin film of sweat most of the time especially in warner climes. Its a good enough product and idea, but Im not sure it will be that soon before the male gender in this culture can be persuaded to actually use it,...

Powdering your nose..., 26 Aug. 2016

I suppose there’s still some unease about men wearing make-up but it’s hardly new and must date back at least to Beau Brummell and even Yves Saint Laurent produced a men’s make-up range in the 70’s. Funny though that most men willing to wear it today would probably still want it to be generally undetectable - and with a bit of effort this Mënaji HDPV Anti-Shine Powder is pretty subtle once applied. I’ve tried both the Light and Medium shades now and weirdly, since I’m naturally very pale-skinned, I liked the Medium one better. They both apply quite easily but the foam pad that’s supplied in the compact while fine for powdering your nose in a hurry probably isn’t the best tool for the job. If you really want to blend the powder successfully and get a more subtle effect then a Kabuki brush is a better tool - and naturally...
