Simply wash in warm soapy water taking care to remove all traces of products. Thoroughly dry with towel (particulary the inside) Allow to 'air' dry fully Sprinkle small amount of talcum powder inside cap distributing evenly rub sides together and disguard excess talc.

Not Sure If This Is A Genuine Magicap?, 26 Mar. 2015

When I opened this I thought this is different to the one I'd been using for years and just assumed that the design had been changed so put it to the back of my mind. I have got it out today to use and started to pierce the holes and found that the quality is terrible because one hole just opened up and didn't re-close so if I use it the bleach will bleed. The fit of the cap is a lot looser than my original one too and the holes are much bigger.

The cap I have previously used has lasted for years with repeated use and no splits or tears, this I haven't even used this yet so I'm wondering if it is a genuine Magicap? I'ts cheaper than I remember paying for my first one but I'd rather pay a bit more and have a genuine quality cap, this is money down the drain. Now I need to order another but I don't know which one to order now ??

if you have a big head, don't buy this product!, 17 Sept. 2012

This cap is of a really good quality, but unfortunately it is too small for me. (I take a med-large or large in hats). I used it, and from the minute I put it on, it really hurt my ears and was extremely tight. I have very fine hair and the cap was so tight, it was almost impossible to pull the hair through. (I even poked holes in the cap before using it!). I have mousy brown hair, and the cap is an off white, so it was difficult to see my hair against the colour of the cap. Upon pulling the cap off after the colouring process, I was amazing to see that the rest of my hair was completely dry, so there will definitely be no leakage with this cap. I washed it off in the shower, and was amazed when I realised I could actually fill it up with water and there was no leaking at all! Obviously all the holes had re-sealed themselves!! I did manage to highlight my hair, but it has come out patchy and not very well, just because of these problems.

Very good had fun highlighting my hair with the help from this product is of a high standard also its re usable easy to clean and looking forward to highlighting many more new hairstyles.
