Earlier in the year I had bought a pair of Tweezerman cuticle scissors which were much more expensive. However, the points were too blunt and didn't do the job properly. Unfortunately (or fortunately whichever way you look at it), I lost them and had to buy a new pair. I chose the Mavala scissors and found that they are very good.
