Now and again you come across a product that really makes a long task easier and so much quicker.

The MICRO Nail Electric Nail Polisher is such a product.

It smoothes those ridges out from your nails and buffs them to an impressive shine in next to no time.

It really is almost like comparing a brush to a vacuum cleaner.

The broom will allow you to sweep up but the vacuum cleaner does it much faster and more effectively.

So it is with this device.

I admit to giving my nails a buff from time to time.

With the nail polishers this took a half hour and 3 different coarseness of emery board.

With this device it took 4 minutes tops.

Now a word of warning.

The makers advise you not to use the coarser device more than 2 seconds to reduce the ridges on your nails and not to use that roller on your nails for a further 2 weeks after.

They are so right I exceeded the time as I thought there is no way...

This is something which works better than it looks as though it will. It looks like something you might buy from a market stall - cheap and plasticky - but of course, is far from cheap.

Included are a smooth roller to give your nails a polish, after you have removed the ridges with the slightly rougher roller. It's recommended that you only do this for a couple of seconds. The temptation is to do it for longer, especially if you nails are quite ridged, but this is probably not a good idea, as it is quite powerful. There are no graduations of strength, it's either on or off. I think it will take me a little while to get used to it, although it works very well.

The ridges on my nails, though still slightly visible, are reduced, and my nails are shinier, although the effects of the polisher are not as long lasting as I would have hoped them to be. You can get a similar effect with a buffer from Boots or Primark, but this is much quicker, although because there are no speed...

What's not to like! You get awesome super shiny nails and you don't even have to paint potentially damaging chemicals on them!Really easy to use. You use the slightly rougher buffer to sand down the ridges and then just slip off the rough wheel and replace it with the buffing wheel to shine up your nails to a super glossy finish. Obviously the sander does remove a small amount of nail material, so some caution might be needed to avoid wearing them down too much, but if you follow the instructions carefully then there is little danger of this. Actually the buffing wheel does a great job on its own even without using the rougher one.The pack comes with replacement heads and batteries, so you're good to go straight out of the box.
