Waste of time and money, 4 Oct. 2014

This product is a waste of time and money. You would expect a top quality for this price especially that the jar is only 170g but this is not the case. I have been sugaring for a number of years so I am definitely not a novice. Yet I found this product difficult to use. The best sugaring pastes are the thicker ones that can be used both ways, with and without the strips. Moom paste is very runny and just like some reviewers already pointed out it can turn into sticky mess. Worst of all it is not great at removing hair and I had to go over the same area a number of times even though I followed the instructions to the letter. As a result I used nearly half a jar on my face alone (I don't suffer from excessive facial hair). What a dreadful product. Would never buy this again.

I used this on my underarms. It didn't hurt anywhere near as much as I thought it would, considering its a hard area to hold the skin taut, and it was my first time using this kind of product there.I would definitely recommend this for underarms as its a small area and any discomfort is over immediately.I tried it on my legs and although it did work well, I'm not very patient, and dealing with such a large area puts me off. The bit I did do is left feeling very smooth!

Negatives:

1) This pot is only 170ml which is half the size of most pots of warm/hot wax you can buy from the high street, this means it is only really good enough for small bits (bikini, face, underarms), or possibly arms - definitely not legs.

2) They also only supply 12 large strips and 4 facial strips in this kit, not close enough for legs. I tried on the legs and I used 12 strips on one lower leg (I am an average sized person)!!, the wax pot was half full, so I am assuming the wax is enough for 2 half legs barely.

3) I don't own a microwave, so heating this in hot water in a pot as suggested is very tricky, the glass pot gets very hot and I burnt my fingers trying to pick in out of the pot. It also states warm to a honey consistency..well it needs to be like very runny honey for you to be able to smooth it on well and thin, which means more heating and a very hot glass pot!!

It's a lovely gentle pain free wax and it's washable...
