These are great products... for a SPECIFIC range of hair types... read before you buy!, 10 Feb. 2014

I decided to write this review because I really like this shampoo and conditioner a lot, but saw some of the negative reviews and decided I'd post a cautionary (but positive) review of my own to save a few people from disappointment and encourage others to try it.

My hair is very thick, mixed hair. It's curly when wet, and straightens to a sort of thick, South Asian texture when I blowdry and use a flat iron, or if I chemically straighten it. It's so thick that people usually assume that I have extensions or a weave of some sort because of the fullness of it. I don't wash my hair every day because that would be too drying for it, but my hair tends to get oily after a few days and so I wash it every three to four days or so. Even though my hair tends not to get very dry, the 'hard' water in London has really presented a challenge - it is nothing like the mineral rich, 'soft' water I was used to growing up in the southern US.

Shampoo Good/Conditioner Sticky, 2 Jun. 2013

This is my first time of using sulphate free shampoo. I was advised that it may help reduce an itchy scalp. I'm happy with the shampoo but had to stop using the conditioner. I found that it left my hair feeling sticky and still coated after much rinsing. It may be OK on others hair, but mine is thin and fine - and was too heavy for me.

Works well for curly and wavy hair, 20 Dec. 2015

Was worried as many reviews on the conditioner were negative, but bought it together with the shampoo anyway. Creates a fullness to hair without too much volume. Great shine. Hair Silky feel. Best sulphate free shampoo and conditioner I have bought. Conditioner not hard to wash out. I have mid length naturally wavy hair but once it's washed and straightened it stays straight until my next hair wash. My daughters hair is also mid length but thick and very curly and also finds the shampoo and conditioner works well on her hair. Just bought the leave in conditioner which she is going to try.
