I have mid length dreadlocks and can get them all under this cap but the elastic doesn't reach all around my hairline so my hairline gets wet. I find the elastic to be a bit loose but the cap does keep all of what is under it dry. *Update* After only 4 months use the elastic has snapped. I won't be buying one of these again so I have lowered the stars from 3 to one.
