Since my teenage years, I have had a bit of an awkward relationship with my thin straw-like hair that I (lovingly!) inherited from my mother and her side of the family! Whereas my fellow students in secondary school could just roll out of bed, shake their heads and simply wet their hair into place with some combing - sometimes not even a need for the latter! - I had to frantically find time to shampoo, condition and use a load of whatever wax/gel product I could get my hands onto in order to make it look like my hair was naturally thick and standing in the correct places!

Now that I am nearing my thirties and the whole meterosexual trend has made male grooming products greatly more available to the mass population, it has been necessary for me over the years to experiment with these items in order to find what the right products best suits my hair variety and how to utilise these to their maximum intended potential.

This styling cream works great. It gives your hair a natural styled look rather than being slick with gel. The whiskey fragrance (seriously!) is nice but unusual, do I want my hair to smell like whiskey? Not sure. I suppose it's more like whiskey mixed with a fresh hair product smell. Anyway, this works well in my hair and is easy to wash out (or not since you can leave it in and it conditions your hair). I would recommend it

I have never used a styling cream before so tried this. It is a really light cream to add to your hair which, when dry, provides a nice natural hold. I have dead straight hair and this will hold my hair brushed back all day. This won't slick your hair back. I would recommend this.
