Why can't we buy British anymore?, 2 July 2015
My boyfriend, who is only fifty six, suddenly started to sprout grey hairs from his nose, causing my libido to disappear completely. I wanted to buy nose scissors as quickly as possible but got the impression that most were being sent from abroad which would necessitate a long wait. I finally chose these are they were labelled `Manchester case' so I assumed they were an English firm. Day after day elapsed (in desperation he probably visited a prostitute) before these finally arrived from - wait for it - Taiwan. I used to do voluntary work with the elderly here in the UK and they were growing enough nostril hair to stuff a quilt so why on earth aren't we producing these clippers on home soil?
