Does clamp down well but head wobbles, 2 Mar. 2014

The design is fine and easy to assemble. It clamps down to the edge of a table or desk securely without having to use huge amounts of strength or anything. My main bug-bear is that it obviously doesn't work with 'most' head dummys. I have a plastic styled head (not with hair or anything) with a black plastic base. The is a hole built into the head base but it is much much bigger than the spoke/support on the clamp.I haven't tried yet but perhaps wrapping the spoke with ducttape or kitchen paper etc to fill the gap might fix the issues but as it is, the head leans to one way or another and easily wobbles and spins as soon as there's any weight on the head.

Lets just say Im able to make my own wigs with ease. The stand attached quite easily to my desk and stayed in place. I especially liked that its adjustable (up and down and pivots) for easy maneuvering. Great buy.

This is a must if you are making wigs. You make a hole in the base of the wig head and then fix it on. You may have to put some tape around the post a few times until it fits snug. Perfect.
