A fairly light skin cleanser with natural exfoliating elements to it - i.e. slightly rough bits of what, according to the ingredients list, are likely to be lentil husks or something, rather than the non-biodegradeable plastic balls you get in some other products. How well it works will depend on your skin, really (including the caveat that it contains bee venom extract, which make cause issues for those allergic to it); personally, if I clean my face too thoroughly, it tends to result in blocked pores within a day or too, so I sought some second opinions here. The second opinions were generally very positive, and worked well with some other Manuka Doctor lotions after the cleasning part. It's not too pricey for occasional use, however.

Best face scrub I've used for adult acne, 2 Jun. 2016

I always find it hard to good facial scrubs that actually make it feel as if my skin is clean. I suffer from adult acne, a lovely curse that I managed to escape when I was younger but since becoming a ‘responsible adult’ (I was a late bloomer) has decided to haunt my life. I try to persevere with scrubs as it makes sense to me that if I remove a layer of my skin I will also remove the blemishes…yet so many products fall short of this precise standard. However, whilst this Manuka facial scrub does not provide me with a daily chemical peel it does make my skin actually feel like it has been scrubbed clean. It seems to have the right balance of beads to liquid and whilst the beads are quite small they do not dissolve as you scrub your face. This gives you a good amount of beads to rub around your face whilst the chemically part does its job. My face actually feels polished and I don’t think I could have achieved more if I’d used a pumice stone…although I would be curious to try. For me,...
