One of the best soaps I've used. Has a soothing effect on dry skin because there are no artificial preservatives, colours or perfumes to irritate sensitive areas. The soap was originally used for household chores, washing clothes etc., and has a cube shape which makes it easier to hold onto in water. We now know the benefits of pure ingredients and the Marius Fabre Marseilles Soap is popular for personal washing. It's high vegetable oil content has a naturally moisturising effect. The white cube doesn't contain olive oil. It's made from palm oil which gives a light, gentle lather that's easy to rinse off. The green cube is a mix of olive and copra oil and equally as good. I use both. I love the cubed design and it certainly looks different. I suffer badly with dry skin and try all types of products. This is one of the best.

A fantastic Soap, 18 Sept. 2014

It arrived quickly and packaged in plastic inside the biggest box ever. I was expecting it to be in a smaller card soap box as it was on the picture but it didn't really matter. A 400g block of soap is quite big bar to hold, so I have chopped it into 6 smaller chunks which I have stored away to use as and when needed. I have used Olive soap before in the past and was really happy when I found this online as it's identical to one which I had years ago. If your expecting a sweet smelling soap then this is not for you, it's smells as you expect of Olive oil, it lathers well in the palm of your hand after rubbing it back and forth ( a bit longer than normal soap). I then rub it on my body and I don't use a sponge. I have seen an improvment in my skin as it's not as drying as other soaps and during the winter months my skin get's very dry and almost painful. I also have sensitive skin and find fragranced soaps really irritate my skin, around my ears I suffer from eczema which flairs up...

Love this soap!! I dont mind the smell, its mild and doesnt linger.The best thing about it - it brilliant for my hair!! I have fine hair prone to greasiness, and I am always on a lookout for hair proucts that would add more volume and wont make my hair look greasy. I tried this with not much hope, just out of curiosity. I was amazed how good it made my hair look! It is glossy and full of volume! I dont use conditioner, just a tiny bit of volumizing product, and I used what I usually use to volumize, and the effect was great. It must have been the soap that did it.Anyway, I am very happy. It feels natural and leans really well. I use it for my faze as well, and its great too. so - five stars averall.
