Handy basic kit, 19 April 2013

I am most pleased with the bag here - see my two photos. It can be worn on a belt using the loops on the back and there is space for more stuff. The contents is basic - don't think your child can use this as it stands for a Duke of Edinburgh Award trip or anything like that. Having said that, if you want a kit for wandering around town, say, it provides everything you need for the kind of little bump or scrape you and your children are most likely to get.

Comments

* The scissors are pretty small but they work well enough and are quite handy.

* There is hardly any tape on the roll, but enough for one use with the one non-adhesive pad, so that's fine.

* Only one disinfecting wipe. I suggest adding a small tube of antiseptic to the pack to supplement this.

* 15 standard plasters, 5 in each of 3 sizes. If you are going walking you could add blister plasters and I would add specialist finger plasters too.

Great for the price, 17 Nov. 2012
It contains 5 small plasters, 5 medium plasters, 5 large plasters, a non adherent pad, a gauze dressing, 2 alcohol prep pads, a bandage, surgical tape and scissors. You would struggle to put all this together yourself for £2!!The little case is nice and there is space to put extra stuff in there.

A 'must have' for cyclists, 13 Aug. 2012

Being an offroad (and onroad - when i need to commute into work or town) cyclist means that I often pick up small scrapes and scratches while on the trail.

This little kit has enough to cover all that up to a really nasty gash or any small to medium sized scrapes/cuts usually Incurred when one comes off his bike going down a really steep hill.

Last year I came off my bike quite badly when trail biking and neither me or anyone in my group had a first aid kit so I had to tough it out and make my way back home which was at least an hour or more away and the wound never stopped bleeding till I got home and patched myself up.

So its definitely worth carrying a small first aid kit with you. It weighs nothing at all and is small enough not to take up any serious space in your backpack.

everything inside looks to be of good quality, but i wont really know how good it really is until I need to patch myself or someone else up.

Given the fact that...
