Mavala Nourishing Oil for Dried Out Nails - Seems to Work, 31 Jan. 2014

This oil is a funny one, comes in a little bottle with a brush to apply, just like nail varnish.

No real odour from it and no greasy residue either which is good on both counts.

The oil is clear and by the time I applied it to one hand then massaged it in, it had vanished. No oily residue and the nails that had been very dry (think using a dark varnish with sparkles in it did not help along with the cold weather) were not half as dry or peeling. Not saying that in just one go it has solved the problem, but with no strong smell, no oil residue left behind so nails could be painted straight away am pleased to keep on using it every time I paint my nails.

It does say that it should be massaged into the nail base each day, if not using polish no problem but if like myself you do have polish on then using when doing a manicure seems like a good idea and one which I will do.

Iron clad nails, 13 May 2013

This stuff is amazing for soft peeling/flaking nails. Bit my nails for 50 years and managed to stop with gel overlays. Now I use this on my nail ends once a week and they are rock hard and really tough.

This stuff is magical. I have always been a nail-biter and gave up on any hope of growing nice nails a long time ago - Mavala has changed that. After a couple of days using it, my nails actually ache a little from growing. Amazing.
