Beware no hygiene seal, 18 May 2015

I am very concerned at the lack of hygiene or security seal. I have purchased this product for years and it has always come sealed. In view of the recent news reports of fake products, how do we know this is genuine and has not been tampered with?

Flaked everywhere, not packaged or sealed. Terrible., 27 Dec. 2017

This didn't come in any plastic or protective packaging so I didn't use it straight away as I was dubious about the safety/hygiene. A few days ago I decided to give it a go simply out of curiosity as I'd bought mascara from Amazon before without packaging and they'd all turned out fine. I wish I'd thrown this away. It applied fine, nothing out of the ordinary, nothing that any basic mascara would do. My issue was the FLAKING! I've used lots of different mascara over the years, this is the first time I've had flaking before. The mascara got in my eyes, this happened over and over again. The flakes got all over my face and eventually I had to take it off, the flakes made my eyes red and it just wasn't worth it.

Anyone thinking of buying this- don't. It's not worth it and not worth the risk. So many other decent mascaras that actually do a good job, this is not one of them.

Amazon- please package this mascara or any other makeup product properly. How do we know that...

My new favourite Mascara, and I've tried a lot, 3 Aug. 2017

My new favourite Mascara, and I've tried a lot! Because of the small wand it covers every lash but not your eyes, gives great volume and lasts all day and night without flaking. I also had a lot of comments from friends as to what Mascara I was using.It works wonders on my lashes and really opens up my eyes. I can get great length and volume with this, without ever being clumpy. It doesn't smudge and layers well for a more dramatic look too!
