This is the first liquid eyeshadow I have used, and so I wasn't too sure what to expect.
My first impressions were that the "precision" applicator was about as precise as a wax crayon, and that the colour was much cooler and more silvery than the bottle suggested. The colour says "coffee" but on the eye it was much more of a gun-metal grey/silver hue that was very shimmery indeed. If this is what you're after then you won't be disappointed.
Even though the eyeshadow is difficult to put on, it does blend very well with fingertips, brushes or cotton buds (although the latter can shed fibres into the liquid if you're not careful). And after around the five minutes it takes to dry (about twice the time of the average mascara) it stays on pretty much *forever*.

Some of the other reviews say this is almost a grey colour... am baffled, as this is absolutely brown. It's a lovely pale coffee shade, with a slight hint of grey in its shimmer. But under no circumstance could this be called grey, let alone gun-metal. (Have uploaded 2 photos so you can see the actual colour.)
Equally, many of the reviews claim it has a slow drying time and goes everywhere... once again I'm baffled. It's not gloopy or sticky, and you can sweep on a thin layer which takes about a minute to dry. Unless it's being poured on (and its texture isn't pourable) I can't work out why someone is having to be so careful to avoid its smudging. It doesn't actually sound like all the reviews are describing the content, so please do keep an open mind.
It's a fab eyeshadow - lovely colour, nice texture and very flattering. I will say, though, that once it's on, it feels a little heavy on my eyelid, and am very aware of its being there. In that respect, a powder...
