I have fairly dry skin and the main problem I have with most foundations, is that the make-up tends to cling to the dry bits which looks unsightly. Having been pleased with other products in the Max Factor range I decided to try this. I am pale skinned so chose creamy ivory, which turned out to be a perfect match with my skin and didn't look orangey, nor did it make me look ghostly as some foundations for pale skin can.

This is a creamy foundation which comes in a pot with a sponge that can be stored away in the base of the compact. At first I thought the foundation seemed really thick and I worried that I was going to end up looking caked in make up. In fact, I found that the sponge made the foundation easy to apply and blend and I was left with a natural finish which both looked and felt light on the skin. i gave up looking for a good foundation about 1 year ago. then this summer, my friend had this foundation and so i tried it on my face because i couldn't find my own foundation. wow. i couldn't believe how amazing it made my skin look. i was literally amazed. i bought my own straight away and have been using it since august and i love it. i get really bad breakouts of spots, huge, deep red acne. this foundation almost completely covers them up, without making my skin look cakey. best foundation i've ever found.

Good replacement for Minerals, 12 Feb. 2014
I was dismayed when Max Factor discontinued their Natural Minerals foundation and I had to look for a substitute. After a ghastly foundation from L'Oreal which I applied once, gazed in shock, and discarded, I tried this. Result. The colour is natural so my face matches the rest of me, the coverage is light but improves the look of my skin, and best of all it doesn't go orange during the day.Max Factor, please don't discontinue this product.
