Not bad, not great, 14 July 2011

These eye shadows have a very much more creamy texture than the powder I expected. They are smooth to apply but due to the texture dont seem to achieve the depth and brilliance of collour and coverage that I hoped for, the darker end especially. This also means that the shadow will collect in creases and wear off fairly quickly, especially in heat.I tried to top up over a shadow and it didnt work at all, just repelled off the powder, so you cant blend it with other shadows either.On the plus side, its good for someone practising the effect of smokey eyes who doesnt feel confident with a shadow powder and an applicator, and the packaging means it is ace to shove in your bag for touch ups during the day or a night out, taking up little space and noot needing applicators. However, for a more dramatic effect I will be sticking to my powder eyeshadows, definitely.The darker bronze has a much redder tone to it than the brown in the photo also!

This is a great product; it is very easy to apply and the result is amazing. The lighter green shade has a round tip and the dark bronze a sharper tip, for better and more accurate application. The colours are beautiful and just like in the picture, and the combination is amazing and has a wonderful effect that is perfect for all day. Although the creamy texture is great, it might be difficult to combine with a powder eye shadow.

This is a great product; it is very easy to apply and the result is amazing. The lighter blue shade has a round tip and the dark purple a sharper tip, for better and more accurate application. The colours are beautiful and just like in the picture, and the combination is amazing and has a dramatic effect. Although the creamy texture is great, it might be difficult to combine with a powder eye shadow. Although it looks fantastic, it doesn't last for very very long.
