cakey makeup, 18 April 2014

I've been messing around with Maybelline for around 2 years now and as of yet I've only ever got on with one of their eyeliners but this foundation was bought for me last year and during the summer months when i have a little more colour in my face it was a really close match for my skin however due to the drab winter it's now making me look a little more orange than i like so I've decided that unless it's an everyday/nip to the shop day and i just need some cover i'll be using this less and less until it's gone all, the only reason i won't throw it away is because i hate waste and it means i can save my others for best.

So...I found this product to be a little cakey, it felt lovely on my fingers and was smooth on my skin but i found it thick and it left my skin feeling heavy, under my eyes after an hour i had lines of build up under my eyes and it made my skin looks worse than without make up as it has sunk into every large pore or dimple i had, it almost resembled a...

Great price, great product., 12 Sept. 2012
I'm NW50 in Mac and this product although it's not the PERFECT match for my skin, it matches very well. Then again, I don't think any foundation is going to match your skin perfectly because everyone has lighter and darker areas on their face. It stays on all day and considering the fact that I have oily skin - that is really good. It does give a flawless finish which I love. Would I buy it again? Without a doubt!

Not bad, 5 Dec. 2014

I used to love this foundation, perfect shade for me and looked great in the morning when I first put it on, had been using it for years.

However throughout the day, the foundation fades, not only that, the foundation transfers on EVERYTHING, I'll never forget the embarrassment of hugging my friend goodbye and leaving foundation stains on her new white top, it transfers on everything, even with an expensive setting powder.

Despite this I still loved it for a time, later on I ended up buying a high end expensive primer, which meant the foundation stayed put for longer instead of fading halfway through the day.

I then discovered Estee lauder double wear, which doesn't transfer, doesn't fade, stays put and perfect. With the price I was paying for my primer (£30), plus this foundation, it was actually cheaper to just buy estee lauder where you don't need the primer

This foundation is a great starter foundation but if you're a make up fanatic...
