This works in the same way as the Rimmel Super Gel ones..Two coats and a top coat (3D plumping coat)..Its very easy to apply, has good coverage and a nice finish..Drying time is no where near as long as the Supergel which is a massive bonus!.. You can get on with your day to day things within an hour and no smears will appear..Maybelline claims to last 7 days and Rimmel Supergel claims to last 14 days..The Supergel last 4-5 days and actual cracks start appearing everywhere and it looks awful..This does as it says on the tin and last 7 days :-)

Bright sassy colour (Hot Salsa) just right for the summer heat! Not the greatest staying power, even with base, top coat and two coats of colour but I don't mind frequent application and often change nail colour every couple of days anyway. The colour and coverage is good, and one coat carefully applied would prob be OK. Lasts me one good day, and the second day with touch-ups.Goes on easily, the brush is great and the bottle didn't gunge up even towards the end. Have bought others from this range, I like the berry, which is a bright and vibrant purple.

Nice colour but lost a star because darker than the image on Amazon after viewing the image on multiple devices to make sure it's what it seems. It was also thinner on application than I'm used to from other nail vanishes. If you want a baby pink this is not it. It's more of a deep pink. It's a nice finish though, smoother than some of my other vanishes. It'd make a good French manucure pink.
