Nice product, ill thought out packaging, 21 Dec. 2015

I will freely admit to being a bit confused by this product. When I ordered it, I assumed it was a powder foundation, the main reason being it comes in a very wide range of shades, whereas pressed or loose powder that is simply meant to fix your liquid foundation is usually translucent. But looking at the Maybelline website this DOES appear to be a standard pressed powder to set your makeup. As such its quite a nice one, lightweight, non-pore clogging, lovely natural skin tones - really little or nothing to fault in the formulation.

The reason I've taken a couple of stars off though is the packaging. At first glance it's actually quite smart - the window in the compact lets you see the powder shade ahead of purchase and I like the fact it comes with a mirror and powder puff too. But here's the rub. The mirror is under the powder layer. So you have to fill your puff, flip the powder up to see the mirror, apply the product - ooops not enough - flip the mirror down, load more...

Awful mask effect, 9 Mar. 2015

bought it because of the very light colour, but it's horrible, stays on the face creating a mask effect and ruins the whole makeup, even when you put a small amount, I tried it few times to give it a chance but it's just awful and it's very visible on the face like if I used tge flour not a powder. don't buy

Feels great on the skin and keeps make up in place for the long term., 10 Jan. 2016

This is a great powder to set foundation/ tinted moisturiser or BB creams. It sits well on top of these products and gives a nice matt finish which stops shine ruining your look. It feels light ion the skin and not greasy, it also gives fair coverage if worn alone rather than on top of foundation etc - which is good news for those days when you simply do not have the time or inclination to put on a full face of make up! I love the packaging which is very chic as well as protecting the powder from bumps and knocks in your make up bag. The base holds a small powder puff and a mirror, which means that is is great for popping into a handbag as you can touch up your make up where ever and when ever the feeling takes you- though I do think that you get a better result with a make up brush as the finish is lighter, but when needs must this is a great fall back.
