Improvement on the formulation, 25 Jun. 2016

The Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara is one of my favourite pharmacy-brand mascara's, Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara is meant to be an improvement - I'd say the formula is an improvement, but I'm not as keen on the the new wand.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara is a really nice formulation, like it's predecessor the mascara isn't clumpy and doesn't dry out the lashes so no feeling like your lashes are being pulled at once dry or black bits getting all over your eyes, but the new oil-infused formulation means that this mascara goes on far smoother than the predecessor and it won't dry-up as quickly as other mascaras. The wand isn't a winner for me, I've tried similar wands with 'reservoir' brushes, the purpose is to get a lot of the product on the brush for easy application but in my opinion this can result in too much product loaded on the brush so takes a little more work to prevent getting too much mascara on your lashes.

Great but not for contact lens wearers, 21 Oct. 2016

Gives you huge eyelashes however as a contact lens wearer I do find this flakes quite a lot and gets into your eyes at the end of the day. Also needs some strenuous work to remove it (so it does stay on which is a good thing but it's almost a fight with it to get it off). I would recommend but not for contact lens wearers.

Mascara was virtually dried up as it was obvious that it had been opened previously. waste of money!!! I'll go to Boots or Superdrug next time as at least I know I'll be buying something I can actually use.The actually product is great when it works though.
