Strawberry Chewits aroma lipstick in a lovely coral peach that goes on smoothly, leaves my lips moisturised & stays on well, 4 Dec. 2015

Maybellline Super Stay 14 Hour Lipstick - 450 Coral - RRP £6.99

This is a lovely lipstick which makes my lips feel moisturised and where the colour stays on really well. The dinky coral, white and silver packaging is fun and fresh and good quality, with the internal metal barrel feeling sturdy. Coral is a rich peach colour for daytime wear with a slight shimmer. The lipstick has a lovey fruity smell that reminds me of kids' sweet strawberry Chewits!

There are three qualities I look for in a lip colour product, namely:

[[ 1 ]] COLOUR - This Coral colour is a lovely coral peach colour with a slight shimmer. When blotted, the lipstick colour looks the same on my lips as it does in the barrel (there's an internal barrel of pinky peach plastic encased in a transparent outer barrel) but can be built up with additional layers to look very slightly darker.

[[ 2 ]] FEEL ON THE LIPS - Lipstick must feel smooth on application and not dry the lips out...

Maybelline Super Stay Keep Me Lipstick - Coral, 28 Dec. 2015

This is just the kind of colour that I wear everyday and so I was delighted to review this. This is a soft peach/pink colour which smells rather like bubblegum or sweets. It is rich and moisturising and stays on well. I am not sure about the claims that it stays on for 14 hours – I would imagine that was only if you did not eat or drink. I cannot say that I noticed it staying on much better than other lipsticks I have used, but it was easy to apply, comfortable to wear and I adored the colour.

The lipstick is fairly small, with a white lid and a clear bottom half; so you can easily see what shade it is if you are rummaging in your make-up bag. It has a sweet scent and is very moisturising to wear. I doubt that it will last 14 hours though, unless you were to wear it at night and no liquid were to pass your lips. Assuming you wear it during the daytime, and eat and drink normally, you will need to re-apply this.

Excellent long-lasting lipstick that doesn't leave a sticky residue, 10 Dec. 2015

I am always wary of these long-lasting lipsticks as I have used so many that leave a disgusting sticky, tacky residue. Thankfully, this one doesn't. And it lasts for hours; I don't know about 14 but certainly most of the day! It is a gorgeous coral colour which is bright without being too much. This is a fantastic price for a top product. The lips are left soft, supple, with lasting and bright colour - what more could you want?
