Had this about a month now so still a "learner" when it comes to DE shaving. I have been using G...Fusion razors for years and the expensive cartridges that go with them. Gents...you really do need to go over to this method !!!Its actually a pleasure to shave now and not a chore. I can't compare this razor to any other as I've only used this one, but all I can say is its seems very well balanced and hasn't cut me yet. I have used it in combination with Astra Superior Platinum blades,Taylor of Old Bond Street Pure Badger Brush and Sandalwood Bowl Gift Box Set. I have restricted myself to 2 shaves per blade but I'm sure I could get more I just don't want to shave with a blunt blade. At 9p per blade who cares anyway!!!

The best safety razor out there, 20 Jan. 2015
This is by far the best safety razor on the market. It's build quality is great and it's weight is a great help while shaving as u don't need to apply pressure just let it gently glide over the face. It does take a bit off getting used to if you have been using cartridge razors but with a little practice and perseverance a close shave is easily acheavible. I am using feather blades in my razor as I read the reviews and they seem to be giving great results. So if your toying with the idea off buying a safety razor then this is the one you won't be disappointed

WOW! What an improvement!!, 12 May 2015
i have been wet shaving with a cheap DE razor I bought in a starter kit off here for the last year. I enjoyed it and was getting a few little nicks along the way!! I decided to take the plunge and invest in a quality razor. WOW!! Wish I had bought it from the start! So much easier, quicker, comfortable and safer!!! First time of using it, not one spot of blood!! Had come to expect the odd spot every shave with the cheap razor. Will be buying another for my travel wash kit!!!!
