The no!no! micro device is designed to burn off unwanted hair on the face and body and is suitable for use by anyone, whatever their hair and skin colour (but specifically not on sunburned skin). A treatment plan over 8 weeks is mentioned although as the device only burns off hair at the surface of the skin, it will not be a permanent hair-removal solution. I would place it on a par with the results you would get from shaving.

Measuring 10cms x 5cms and weighing 66.5gms this is much smaller than I expected. There is a tiny little on/off switch on the base, and when pressed firmly, the device switches on; a green light on the front of the unit confirms it is now ready. A smooth, steady action is required, and you must glide in one direction only – no forwards and backwards. It is suggested that you work towards the body, against the grain. When placed on the skin a blue light appears which remains on as long as you achieve the correct speed; a flickering lights indicates you are moving too slowly.

With all hair removal devices, I am looking for something that saves time and effort versus shaving or epilating. This device does not do that.
I have tried the NoNo device three times now and have been disappointed with the result in each case. The basic principle behind the device (so far as I can make out) is that a thin piece of wire is heated up so that it glows red (much like the elements in a toaster) and this wire comes into contact with the hair to treat it.
I've seen the TV commercials for NoNo in the past couple of years and so I was expecting fabulous results - they show people in a shopping centre testing the device on their arms and being amazed at the result and so I was expecing to see instant hair removal. Even having passed the device over the skin 6 times and buffing the skin (the instructions say it can take that many goes) there was still no discernable effect.
