We have been using these three products by mixed chicks on our daughters hair for the past couple of years and it has really made a difference to hair washing!!It has halved the time it takes us to get through the mass of thick and very curly beautiful hair my daughter has.It leaves the curls silky and smooth and now she doesn't scream and cry as she did for years while we tried to brush out the tangles.She even does it her self now.I have recommened this to many friends and even strangers as don't want any other parents and children to suffer with the nightmare of hairwashing as we did before we discovered mixed chicks.its fantastic,just wish it was cheaper.

Lovely glossy curls, but scalp drying..., 17 Sept. 2015

I've been using this combination of products for six months. I love what it does to my hair, lovely full, glossy curls, soft and natural - I was so thrilled to have found it, I didn't know my thick, frizzy hair could behave like this! However, in the last few months, I have found that my scalp has become quite dry and flaky. Very sad as I really don't want to have to start experiment with other products again. My routine: I wash with the shampoo (twice a week), apply deep conditioner and brush through, rinse five minutes later, then apply leave-conditioner and leave to dry. I have now stopped using the shampoo (trying a different brand), as I have a feeling it's the shampoo that is damaging my scalp. When it gets into my eyes, it stings something terrible! If any other users who've found the same, and have a solution, I'd love to hear as I really want to keep using this brand!

This is definitely good value compared to buying the products separately, i love the shampoo and conditioner it's softening and detangling but am not so wowed by the leave in conditioner, it's nice on the day it's applied but by the next morning my daughters hair is really dry and frizzy and it needs to be moistened and reapplied which is trying for a 4 year old. I would buy them again however as there is not too much available on the market to satisfy my daughters hair. Afro hair products are far too oily for her hair, as she has the tight curls of afro hair but the soft texture of european hair so although it looks absolutely beautiful it matts, locks and frizzes very easily. These products do seem to be a good middle ground between the 2 but they just need to refine the leave in product
