I have a branded micropedi and when I've used it I've seen my skin fall off like a cloud of icing sugar, but my feet never felt any softer, and the cracks didn't disappear. Then I fell across a foot peel - little plastic socks with a fluid inside them, packaged like this product. Ten days after wearing the foot peeling socks my feet were white and very dry looking (worse than ever before), and my skin didn't peel as in the advertising pictures - until I spent half an hour in a swimming pool. When I got out of the water the skin was hanging off, and continued to peel and peel like they'd never stop peeling.
Once the dead skin had peeled off (I never realised how much there was - scrapers had obviously only removed the surface!) I used these moisturising socks, and my feet felt wonderfully silky and smooth afterwards. I put the socks back in the pack and reused them a few days later - putting cotton socks over them and sleeping in them. They smell lovely, and in the morning...
