Excellent putty, 25 May 2015

This hair putty/clay works really well. I bought it because other products such as waxes were making my hair look too greasy and not holding my hair very well. My hair isn't short, but it's not very long either. This putty is perfect. It holds my hair for over a day with very little maintenance required and looks great. It produces almost no shine or greasiness and looks very natural in my hair.Overall I would recommend this for anyone desiring a true matte look, and it also holds my hair well.

(I bought this alongside many others to finally try and find something that held my hair in place as invisibly as possible and without leaving me with greasy hair / forehead / fingers all day).

Smells nice. Easy to apply after warming in palms. I have quite thick but short hair and this stuff doesn't really work for me. It's got a very slightly stronger hold than my favoured Matte Clays for an equivalent amount. Unfortunately when used in quantity to generate a hold that warrants using it in the first place it adds a bit of a greasy dullness to my hair. This is particularly bad if I run my fingers through my hair over the course of the day as it gets over-worked. Makes my fingers a bit sticky whenever I do this. It never "dries out." American Crew fibre, VO5 matte clay and many others all do exactly the same to my hair even in very tiny amounts so I guess my hair is susceptible to this sort of thing.

Great product, doesn't make hair look greasy as a lot of other products do. Makes thinnish hair look a little thicker (a plus in my case!).
