The scissors are made from polished stainless steel apparently, although they are magnetic so I'm not entirely sure on the metallurgical quality of the stainless (some stainless steels are magnetic although vast majority aren't). It feels like nice leather, has a strong metal popper for closing and is well stitched to give it a genuine feel of quality. The popper closes with a very satisfying loud “pop”. This is a great looking Beard and Mustache trimming set. The scissors are super sharp and cut really well even at the very tip, so I think they will do a good job on detailed trimming of the beard or mustache.
The little comb that comes with it is really cute. Being female, I'm really not sure if a guy would really use a tiny comb like this or not. I guess I should ask my husband, but I may give these to him for Christmas so I better not lol :). It's awfully tiny but maybe that is typical of a facial hair comb. It is pretty fine toothed and the teeth feel very durable, a little bit flexible so they won't snap easily. Mostly I am very impressed with the high quality stainless steel scissors in this set.
