It is a lovely stand, well designed and high quality. Just be sure you buy it for a Muhle razor, and not a Merkur razor (like I did) or it won't fit.

Fits my Muhle Razor, stands well but a little expensive in my opinion; It is good quality and solid metal so it's heavy at the base. Easy to clean and no sign of rusting

Make no mistake, this is a lot of money for such a small item. But the quality shines through, and it is a pleasure to own such a precision piece of kit. I did check with the vendor first, and on arrival my Merkur 34C razor fitted a treat.So, why this type of stand? Well it keeps the centre of gravity low and is therefore less likely to tip over or fall from a height, which would potentially damage the razor.Overall, a lovely item, with pride in ownership, but it'll cost you.
