This is a gorgeous brush, and the fact that it is synthetic adds to it rather than detracts from it.The bristles are soft and produce a good lather (at least it does with Taylor of Old Bond Street shaving soap), the quality and matt finish of the aluminium parts are excellent, it dries quickly and collapses into its handle in a clever and satisfying way. It is light and small when collapsed and a joy to use.It requires a slightly different technique to a genuine badger brush, since it doesn't require soakiing and it doesn't retain quite as much water when you flick it out, but since no badgers were harmed in the making of it and it survives in my wash bag while travelling without smelling, deforming or going mouldy it is without doubt the best brush I have owned.Strongly recommened.
