Wonderful moisturiser for the face with added protection from the sun's harmful rays., 16 May 2015

This is a wonderful moisturiser for the face with added protection from the sun's harmful rays and the environment generally.

It sinks into skin quickly and easily - making it feel plump with moisture; without making it feel greasy.

Unlike lots of creams especially those that contain sunscreen, this one isn't heavy and there's is a delicate, fresh fruity fragrance.

It lasts all day and especially good for sensitive, combination skin. The biggest thing I noticed is that it didn't block pores (like most sun creams I've used do) and cause it's own problems. My skin felt so moisturised and calm - throughout the whole day, I never bothered to reapply this. I even had the confidence to use it on my children's delicate skin with no sign of irritation or upset. Just make sure that it doesn't go into anyone's eyes (as there is a warning about this).

The only slight issue is that of the price - its on the expensive side but I am hoping that the tube lasts a long time. A...

Brilliant moisturiser - Excellent SPF, Brightens Skin - Worth every penny, 24 May 2015

I received this courtesy of the Amazon Vine Programme

First of all I have to say that I already use Murad products. I made the change to them almost two years ago and in my opinion they are worth every penny but that said they are expensive so when I was given the chance to try the Environmental Shield Essential-C Day Moisture SPF30 I was delighted.

I made the change to Murad as I have sensitive skin which is no surprise considering my Celtic background and auburn hair. Until now I have used the Murad Redness Therapy range (gel, serum and moisturiser) and they work really well - keeping my skin moisturised and calm - no itchy red rashes for me. However my concern has been that the Redness Therapy moisturiser has only an SPF of 15 and that really isn't high enough for me, particularly coming into the summer and so I've had to use sunscreen which counteracts the benefits of the calming moisturiser. If I don't use the additional sunscreen I end up being affected...

Nice, but...!, 30 May 2015
I have eczema so I am always excited about trying a new moisturiser! While my face did feel soft and moisturised I was not impressed with the product as a whole. The cream smelt lovely! To me it smelt of orange chocolate, which is lovely. It also went on very nicely, my skin didn't feel clogged or greasy. However, the reason I had to drop the stars was due to my eyes watering profusely after I had used the product. I do get this when I use regular suntan lotion so I didn't put the cream near my eyes, but maybe the smell or something irritated my eyes.I won't be able to use this product because of this and feel someone could be disappointed paying so much for something they, potentially, may not be able to use.
