This Oil-Control Mattifier SPF15 is an excellent product. This product does what it says “on the tin”, it applies easily and you can notice the difference. I have oily skin, around the “T” on face. I find it keeps my foundation on much better when use I this product and I do find I use less foundation, which in turn means it has that extra staying power. I would highly recommend this product. The pricing is a tad on the high side – that said, do not be put off with the price, as it really does job and worth every penny. If you use small amount, and really that is all you need to be honest, then this will last you ages and a little bit goes a long way

It is ultimately effective in keeping oil at bay.But it is rather difficult to apply - its very thick and it takes some effort to spread it properly.It is also expensive for the amount provided.It has a mild scent.

Very effective at reducing shine, 16 Aug. 2015

This mattifying cream is part of a suite of Murad products that bear the blue stripes and which can form a regimen to address acne and blemishes. This has been tested by the teenager in the family, as although I have suffered with adult acne in the past my skin is currently clear and dehydrated rather than oily. Teenagers' products for controlling sebum and oily skin can be quite harsh and end up stripping the skin and setting up another cycle of breakouts. This product would normally be outside her price range and she was delighted to try it. We were both impressed with how effective the mattifier is at preventing that shiny face look - dewy is good, shiny, less so. As others have said the only downside is that it does not exactly slide on but that's a small niggle. What is good about this is that it also provides sunscreen with adding oil. I'll report back after more extended use.
