I decided to get a decent pair of nail scissors after a cheapo pair from the local chemist were next to useless. Got to say it has been a very good investment, and I never thought I would say that about a pair of nail scissors!

Despite the manufacturer's claim these scissors are not particularly sharp. While, being right-handed, I had no trouble using them to cut the nails on my left hand, they tended to tear rather than cut the nails on the right hand. I bought them as a backup for a pair of straight nail scissors I purchased from Boots (which I believe were made by Wilkinson Sword) about 50 years ago and are still extremely sharp. I don't know what I shall do if I ever lose the boots scissors as the Murrays pair are not up to the job

Really pleased with these nail scissors - I wanted something that would be sharp and cut quicks as my curved nail scissors weren't doing the job. These are excellent - sturdy, well-made, very sharp and very reasonably priced. All in all, an excellent buy.
