Nice and smooth base - and my nail condition has improved by regular use!, 17 Jun. 2015

I'm a bit of a nail polish addict - I don't do anything fancy, like nail art or anything, but I do like nicely polished nails.

I always use a base coat, to make my polish last longer (not sure they do that) and to prevent staining (which they definitely do).

Although a fan of Nails Inc polishes, I'd never tried their base coats before so was keen to try this one. Once the silver top is pulled off, there's a more practical ribbed black one to use, and the brush is nice and wide so the base coat can be applied in one sweep.

Although a rather sickly looking green colour in the bottle, this goes on clear and leaves a nice smooth surface, which does give a good base for colour, and it does seem to prevent peeling of colour - and peeling and flaking of my rather dry nails.

I'm slightly dubious about the claims made for the kale extract, but this is a nice quality base.

Nails INC Nail Polish Nail Kale Superfood Base is a very nice looking nail varnish with the added bonus it conditions your nails which for me is a huge bonus. My nails lately have been dry and brittle and breaking at the slightest tweak. I have filed them neatly give them a buffering now I have put two coats of this on to try and bring some health back into my talons!

I actually find this an attractive glossy finish, I will edit my review as time goes on but so far so good - I like the 'mirror like' finish they have provided me with and my nails do seem stronger but that would be the varnish effect.

Nails INC nail polish is a well-known brand and they would be my first choice when requiring nail products.

I would recommend the Nails INC Nail Polish Nail Kale as an excellent nail varnish with the added bonus of Kale as it is well known as a super food and actually used in Japan as a diet supplement. Kale is very rich in beta carotene, vitamin K and C plus calcium...

Nourishing base coat!, 12 Jun. 2015

This is a very nice base coat, I usually use Opi for my base coat but that can sometimes leave my nails too hard so that they become a bit brittle and break easily. This has keratin and the kale in it to provide you with a nice base for your colours. I have used this with the whitening polish of the same range and have been please with it. My nails don't seem too hard and dried out.
