This is a quality item. It says toenail cutter, but it works just as well on fingernails, which is principally why I bought it; left-hand arthritis makes squeezing hard on blunt cutters painful; with this instrument it's far easier. The relatively large, curved jaws (twice as big as your standard clippers of this kind) also make a much smoother job than the straight ones, and the longer handles offer superior leverage. A single, gentle squeeze on the handles flawlessly releases the catch. The large, luxurious, red velvet-lined case with the magnetic catch is thick icing on the cake. Worth every penny.

Please don't be misled by the marketing on this product.It is very poorly made and finished . It is marketed as a quality, professional item, but the finishing on the box joint is rough and the cutting surfaces are blunt which is dangerous for an item such as this.The place where it is made is not in the item description but is on the box and it states that it is made in Pakistan, which says it all really.I requested a refund but got no reply, and am now stuck with a useless implement.Dont buy this. Buy a Dovo made item from Germany.
