The item arrived in fast time, and packaged well, no issues there. However perhaps I was a little naive to think that such cheap straighteners would really dry my hair from wet. Although it would be nicer if they actually even straightened my hair when it was bone dry! I was initially only looking for a pair of slimmer, smaller straighteners, as I had my hair cut and my big ones that weren't much more than these are too big to get parts of my hair now without burning myself. These were sadly not the answer. They don't seem to get very hot even turned up to maximum. I am awarding two stars because they arrived in good time, and such, and I have not been well, and I am disabled and seriously ill, so getting to my post office to return them would really be a big job, and so didn't contact the seller, so can't comment on if they would've done anything about it or not, so I am giving them an extra star because I haven't given them the chance to refund or replace so I think that's only...

died after a couple of weeksshop said its not worth repairing, as the cost to repairwould be more than the cost of the straighteners

My wife says the straighteners work well but when she's finished using them there's nowhere to put them while they cool down. They should come with a heat resistant case - which we've now had to buy separately (from a different supplier).
