Although they're named cleansing pads these Glycolic Fix Pads seem to be more about exfoliating and refreshing your face than removing grime and/or make-up. They're very saturated with product so you really feel like you've used a skincare product afterwards and they leave a residue on the skin and don't just all evaporate away. In use they're very refreshing without being too astringent or stripping the skin of natural oils. Having said that, my skin is slightly sensitive and I felt the exfoliating action (presumably the Glycolic acid) was slightly too harsh to be used more than once a day - the recommended routine is to use them once or twice daily. There's also a warning on the pack to use a sunscreen afterwards because some experts believe Glycolic Acid can cause slightly increased sun sensitivity.

You get a decent amount of pads in the tub and with so much product in each you don't need more than one to completely treat your face and neck, even though the pads are...

Exfoliating Cleansing Pads to remove dead skin cells gently, 18 Sept. 2015

I have always been mad about exfoliating. Now that I'm much older I've reduced exfoliating to twice a week using products with granules or beads. I was really excited to try these NIP+FAB cleansing pads as it seems to me an innovative way to scrape away dead skin cells on a daily basis.

An additional bonus is that the pads are soaked in glycolic acid which over time works for mature skin by smoothing out fine lines and helps to reduce acne. With my laughter lines and the breakouts that I get from time to time at the side of my nose, these would be a perfect win for me.

I've been using them for the past few days. They contain 2.8% glycolic acid. I know that glycolic acid is not suitable for everyone's skin but this is a low amount and I really haven't found them harsh to use at all. I use them after cleansing and the pads are moist enough to apply all over my face. I do like them as my skin feels very clean and is slightly more brighter after using them. I have found that...
