Layer this stain under gloss or lipstick for all-day color, 1 Aug. 2014

As a bright-lipstick addict, I am frustrated by having to check and reapply my color throughout the day. I have tried every "long-wearing" lipstick on the market, and none are truly indelible. If you can't stand the look of your bare lips, this type of stain is part of a solution to keeping your mouth in color all day long.

As suggested by makeup artists, in the past I have used a lip pencil to completely fill in lip color prior to applying my lipstick. I use this lip stain in the same way, coloring my lips completely, then appliance a top layer of gloss or regular lipstick after the stain has dried. With this method, my mouth still has a nice tint even as the lipstick or gloss wear down. I also do use this stain by itself around the house when I just need some lip color but not a fully made-up mouth.

I do find that this stain can be somewhat drying when worn alone. Also, I keep it stored in an cap-down position so the liquid stays available to the tip...

Excellent lip stain. Flattering colour - not too strong. Easy to apply, goes on smoothly. Stain lasts most of the day, which is longer than I have found with some alternative products.

I bought this thinking it would stay for 16hours like it said but it came off within about an hour I wouldn't recommend this product, it's a waste of money
