Lovely liner!, 15 Mar. 2012

I bought this NYX lip liner to go under the deep red lipstick, Runaway Red by Mac. Some people say RR leans more brown-red and some claim there is a version that is more blue red. I find it is a very deep red hue which is almost a wine stain colour. Finding the perfect pencil for a lipstick online is a pain, the swatches are mostly poor and usually non representative of the actual pencil but this one is pretty accurate. As soon as I saw the colour swatch, I knew that this was what I was looking for. The NYX pencil then, is a deep red also and yes it is burgundy. Sometimes lip pencils can be very dry and drag on the lips upon application but this glides on fairly well making it good quality for a cheap price. It is not drying upon the lips but you must moisturise before use and if you suffer with dry lips, it is going to show up any flakes or imperfections so pre exfoliation is paramount. So I bought this pencil thinking it was going to be full length and packaged properly. Guess I was SO wrong it was tiny the size of my little finger, just SHOVED in the box with no seal at ALL! You could of at least covered the top of the pencil but NO. Half of the colour from this minature pencil has coloured in the packaging. I'm far from happy. I was looking forward to wearing this. THANKS FOR NOTHING

Love love love this product!!! Ordered 1000 years as I read that it was a good dupe for Mac stone lip pencil. Well I haven't got the Mac stone pencil but I live 1000 years it's a fab colour and looks just as good if not better than Mac stone great product quick delivery would defintetly recommend
