Quality nail products, 24 May 2016

I'm a bit of a nail polish addict - I don't do anything fancy, like nail art or anything, but I do like nicely polished nails. I've only ever used Nails Inc Base Coat before - for top coat, I'm a Seche Vite girl, so I was keen to try the full set of treatments

The set comes in a nice simple gift box. There are no instructions included, but it's not hard to work out what to do - although it would be nice if the packaging at least said for the overnight treatment that it should be applied to bare nails. Each bottle is a generous 14ml size. Once the silver top is pulled off, there's a more practical ribbed black one to use, and the brush is nice and wide so the base coat can be applied in one sweep.

I always use a base coat, to make my polish last longer (not sure they do that) and to prevent staining (which they definitely do).Although a rather sickly looking green colour in the bottle, this goes on clear and leaves a nice smooth surface, which does give a good...

The Nails Inc Nail Power Collection surprisingly comes with no information so I ended up looking at their own website to find out how best to use the trio. First you have the overnight detox mask which is to be applied to clean nails and massaged into the nail and cuticle which are supposed to penetrate into the nail bed and contain green tea, acai and spirulina to stimulate healthy nail growth. In the morning you then just wash it off. The base coat and top coat also provided in the kit are for use before and after putting on your favourite nail polish. The base coat Nailkale Superfood is another treatment for stronger and healthier nails while the top coat, Kensington Caviar is just a very glossy top coat which is supposed to dry within 45 seconds.

I do like the kit and feel my nails have really needed a little extra TLC and I do feel I’ve noticed a difference. However, even just massaging your cuticles will help increase blood flow to the area and help your nails...

Three very nice Nails Inc products for maintaining neat and healthy-looking nails..., 18 Jun. 2016

The Nails Inc Trio Power Treatments Set is a triple pack of nail treatment products which includes a Nail Kale Superfood Base Coat, Nails Inc legendary high gloss top coat, and a Nails inc Overnight Detox Mask.

The set comes in a nicely presented and quite handy box for storage. Somewhat surprisingly no advice is provided on the application of any of the products. Admittedly application etc should mostly be quite self-explanatory. Although it possibly should be noted that the treatment mask is to be used more as on overnight cuticle oil and is not a polish - so perhaps a little write-up or advice on how to use this particular product would have been a good idea rather than a blank un-noted box.
