I bought this cuticle gel because I was so delighted with the bottle of Formula 2 I bought (and I'll get around to doing a review on that soon). It arrived this afternoon, and I was startled when I opened it; the so-called seal underneath the cap on the jar was loose and just balanced on top of the contents, and the contents themselves are nothing like a gel, but more like a foam or mousse, full of air, as if it had been whipped. The vendor has confirmed that it really is supposed to be like this, and it wasn't a matter of it going "off" due to being unsealed (or, a possibility, because of the 80+ degree heat today).
It is, I suppose, perfectly usable, although I suspect that without all that air in the foam the contents would only fill about half of the jar rather than the full height; but maybe it will still do the necessary to my cuticles.
