Properties:

The oil is extracted from the sesame seeds through the process of cold pressing. Sesame oil is normally a clear pale yellow oil with little to no aroma.

Sesame oil contains vitamins A, B and E and a number of natural antioxidants thought to help to combat the formation of free radicals and prevent skin damage.

Main Uses:

Sesame oil can be added to other oils to be used as a base for massage, ideally making up around 20% of the finished blend.

In skincare, sesame oil is thought to be an effective moisturiser for skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and broken veins. Applied as part of your sun care routine, sesame oil is thought to support sun screen products by adding additional protection from UV rays.

Can be used as a gentle and effective cleanser and make-up remover.

All vegetable oils & fats are 100% fat and are generally high in calories (on average about 120 calories per tablespoon). Vegetable oils are often used in food preparation for salad dressings, cooking, frying, baking, sauces and marinades.
