I've just started using shaving oil and wanted to try something a bit differant. This has a very pleasant smell and unlike soaps is good as a moisturiser as well. Highly reccomended.

very masculine scent, 21 April 2014
I have used at least three different shaving oils before (including Taylor of Old Bond Street and Trueffit) which have fairly "nice" and easy scents to them.I was at first surprised at the very masculine scent from this bottle. I expected something a bit more perfume-like from the sandalwood and lemon components. What it does remind me of is a smokey leather smell which is very masculine. After the second use I really liked the smell once I had gotten used to it. It was just different to what I had been used to.As for how the oil works, it is as good as any I have tried. It helps lubricate the skin before shaving, and when done my skin is nice and soft.

first time of using oil as a shaving accessory, found it to be a really good addition to use with gel /cream/soap, will certainly be a permanent item in my bathroom cabinet
