British Naturally Anti-Bacterial, Anti-Microbial Hemp Oil Face & Body Wash Soap for Sensitive, Allergy and Trouble-Prone Skin, 150g glass jar is available in Shower Gels, Soaps & Hand Wash, Gels & Foams
Traditional, handmade soap for daily washing of the face, hands and body, especially for oily skin, trouble zones on combination skin, or areas prone to acne, pimples, blackheads, liver spots and other blemishes as well as flaky skin, dry skin and itchy skin, skin prone to eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. Always be careful to keep the soap out of the eyes. Hemp oil soap was made in Britain between the 12th and 19th century until it was displaced by cheap commercial, less nourishing soaps. Using just three ingredients - British grown and produced hemp oil, lye and water, this soft soap is highly suitable for people with sensitive skin, allergy or trouble-prone skin. The soap is kept in its original concentrated gel-like consistency. Traditional soap, also known as soft soap, black soap or campfire soap was recognized for its universal properties. There was not a certain soap for washing the skin, one for shaving, another for cleaning - one soap did everything! Fascinated by this soft soap or black soap as it is known in historical texts, at Natural Spa Supplies we have set out to recreate the 12th century recipe, although we will admit that we do not cook it outside over an open fire!

You don't need very much of it at all, but it isn't quite the same process as the quick put-on-rinse-off petro-chemical soaps. I use this about every other day, and I do a lot of work with nasties such as tar, soot, oil, grease, etc. I get spots that are sore and raised, and this product is now an essential item to calm and clear those areas. Nothing else has ever worked this well. I have had it for about 6 months and there is still a quarter of a jar left. Don't get it in your eyes - this applies to everything in life, so you shouldn't be put off by another reviewers criticism - it's absurd to think you should be able to put things in your eye to consider them a good product! If that was the case we would only ever wash with eye wash . . Honestly, if you are the sort of person that spends £18 on soap and...
