I don't usually write reviews but I have to say I am really impressed. I've used other products with AHA with good results. My old product, MD Forte, was excellent but was taken off the shelf and is only available from a doctor or dermatologist, so I had to go hunting for another. I tried several other before I came across NeoStrata. The results are excellent, and I have to say, even better than MD Forte, my skin really glows, it does something very dramatic in a real positive way. Since using NeoStrata I'm forever getting told how great my skin looks. For people who have never used an AHA product before, I would recommend starting at a lower AHA level and then work your way up, as another reviewer stated "it burns like hell" and if your skin isn't ready for this, she's absolutely right, it's potent stuff and it’s going to burn, so start low and work your way up. This High Potency Cream, AHA 20 contains 20% glycolic acid at a pH of 3.5. This will exfoliate skin, but the kickback from irritation due to such a high concentration of AHA may not be worth the risk, at least not for daily use. There isn’t any research on this issue to help point you in a safe direction. This product is only recommended if your physician advises you that such potency is necessary.
