I used to buy this product from a local store, it was always in short supply, sold quickly when it was on the shelves and people in the know kept an eagle eye out for it and bought in bulk. You really did have to be quick.
I was down to my last bar of this soap and desperately looking to buy some more. The local shops no longer had a space for it on the shelves so I contacted the manufacturers and asked why according to their website all the shops they said stocked the item didn't?
The reply was chilling, they stated that they had discontinued the line and where no longer stocking the item and that they could not offer me any alternative product because it wasn't selling! Strange when in my consideration it was always in limited supply and sold out within days.
A quick search on Amazon and there it was, I could still get hold of it.
Postage is a bit on the high side but considering this is sent from the USA and if you buy in bulk it reduces...

It's about forty years since I saw this advertised, tried it, and haven't stopped using it. It has never inflamed or irritated, and my skin is clear, fresh and healthy, and virtually unlined.
It's had a loyal following in the UK for years, but this isn't enough for Johnson and Johnson. who have decided to stop sending it here, because - they say - sales are low. (Perhaps they make more profits from offering expensive hope to acne sufferers?) I've contacted Neutrogena and Johnson & Johnson to ask them to reconsider supplying their flagship product to us in the UK. What a waste of time that was. Neutrogena tell me to contact Johnson & Johnson, and Johnson & Johnson tell me to contact Neutrogena, and they give me US phone numbers, and links to websites I've already looked at, and they tell me that supplies have been discontinued and therefore cannot be restored. (Of course they can.)
