These are just perfect for me. As mentioned elsewhere, they are very thick and strong. Thick and strong also describes my toenails as I go deeper into old age, and ordinary files and emery boards were defeated ( or should that be defeeted) by my hardened keratin. Not so these emery boards, a couple of days use and they are almost back to normal.

I just started doing my gel manicures at home and needed some files to shape my nails and to also to file the top layer of the gels when removing them.This is perfect for this job. I use the less gritty side to shape my nails and the more gritty side to file away the top coat of gels. Each side is a really good grit consistency for the job I use it for.Each side is slightly cushioned, which I love. It helps the file hug the curves of the nail unlike other nail files which are just hard and flat.They last a long time, it doesn't lose its grittiness until after a lot of use.Lastly, these are really good value for the price. I can see these lasting a long time.
