This is a very useful and clever little beauty tool … a double ended eyeliner and concealer from New CID Cosmetics.

This would be perfect for anyone who is going out to a club or party late at night and whose eyes look tired (with redness in the whites and dark rings under the eyes) or anyone who has had little sleep for one reason or another and wants to look less tired.

This tool is used to open up the eyes, reducing the appearance of redness and dark circles which it does rather well.

It arrives inside a rather thin cardboard box which was a little squashed on arrival. The product inside was absolutely fine though.

The eyeliner and concealer comes inside a slim white pencil style tube. One end contains the eyeliner and the other end contains the concealer (which is actually in the screw off lid). The pen is ready to use as soon as you remove either of the two caps.

It's very simple packaging, which Amazon don't help by shoving it in one of their thin card sleeves, so the product box was crushed when I received it. Luckily the pen wasn't damaged, but the build quality is so solid it looks like it can take a few bumps.

The eyeliner end is a pull cap, with the cartridge twisted to extend the eye liner. The cartridge is also able to be removed with a pull. On the other end is the concealer, which twists off. The reason it twists instead of pulls is immediately apparent as the small pointed sponge applicator is covered by concealer as the cap is twisted off, as the concealer powder is stored in the "roof' of the cap, so there's no fiddling about trying to dip it yourself. I think it's a really ingenious way of applying it. Both the concealer and eyeliner are smooth, very good quality and a nice neutral yet vibrant skin colour, with the eyeliner perfect for touching up the rims of the eyelid and the concealer applicator good for the...

I am afraid I can not see the point of this. There are much better concealers that cover dark shadows and I cannot really see the point of a skin tone eyeliner pencil. I think this is unnecessary in most makeup bags.
